Seduta
A meeting recorder that keeps everything on your devices. It records calls and in-person meetings, transcribes them on the device, tells speakers apart, remembers voices, and writes a summary. Every meeting is a folder of Markdown and JSON in your own iCloud Drive. No account, no server of ours.
What it does
- Mac: notices when a call app opens the microphone and offers to record; records your side and the call's audio; a menu bar icon shows the state.
- iPhone and iPad: records in-person meetings, with a Live Activity on the lock screen. Phone calls are recorded in the Phone app and shared to Seduta.
- Apple Watch: records the quick conversation you are in, and stops or pauses a recording the phone is making.
- Transcription runs on the device with Voz, a European speech model covering 25 European languages, mixed within one meeting if that is how you talk.
- Summaries are written on the device with Apple Intelligence, or by an endpoint you choose, EUrouter by default.
Where things go
Recordings, transcripts and summaries live in iCloud Drive › Seduta, shared by your Mac, iPhone and iPad. The recording is removed a while after the transcript exists, and you can bring it back for a few days. See the privacy page for exactly what leaves the device and when.
Seduta is Sursilvan Romansh for meeting. Made by Spert, Switzerland.
